Cappellino? No.
Crema solare? No.
Ombrellone? Ma certo, l’ho lasciato in spiaggia, ovvio. 😂
Ferragosto at Pian della Mussa: curves, sun and surprises
The plan was simple: spend Ferragosto in the mountains, breathe some fresh air, enjoy green meadows and relax a little.
The reality? Well… let’s just say it went slightly differently.
After just a few kilometers in the car, Manuel started complaining non-stop. We thought he was hungry, thirsty, bored… but no — it was “spin cycle” mode activated by all those winding curves. 🤢 And sure enough, a few turns later… boom, the drama.
Quick outfit change, Formula 1 pit-stop style, some fresh air, and we were back on the road.
We finally got to Pian della Mussa, and that’s when the truth hit me: I hadn’t even considered that there’s also sun in the mountains.
Hat? Nope.
Sunscreen? Nope.
Beach umbrella? Of course, I left that at the beach, obviously. 😂
Luckily, we found a tree that kindly adopted us for the day, and no one came home looking like a lobster.
The place really is stunning: meadows, streams, silence… well, at least until we showed up. After that, the Alpine peace was replaced by laughter, running around, and kicking the ball.
Days with kids are like that: you never know what to expect, but in the end, it’s probably those exact days — with all their little surprises — that stay in your heart. ❤️
