Però siamo state brave: abbiamo rimesso tutto a posto, come due clienti modello.
The sky is smiling again… and so am I! 🌤️
Today the sky finally remembered to do its job and give us some sunshine, and of course, I couldn’t help but smile with it.
The morning started, as always, at full speed at 6 AM—between meltdowns, curses, and the usual package of saints dragged out of bed (4 Christs and 2 Madonnas, to be exact). And yet, by some divine mystery, we actually made it to school on time! 🙌
Kids dropped off, coffee enjoyed in peace, and then off we went… shopping with my best friend 🫶🏼.
On October 6th, it’s the baptism of her second baby, so today was all about trying outfits. Spoiler alert: it felt more like a marathon in the fitting room than a shopping trip. We locked ourselves in and only came out after 2 HOURS (yes, you read that right: two whole hours). The first time I checked the clock, it was already 1 PM. With her, time always flies.
We tried on everything and more, our fitting rooms overflowing with clothes like we were setting up a flea market. In the end, she bought something, while I—eternal Miss Indecision—of course, bought nothing (I’m sure the sales assistant just loves us 😂). At least we were good girls: we put everything back neatly, like model customers.
After lunch, we were off again: a stop at the Settimo Outlet Village, but not to shop… nope, just to act like “old folks” and check out the construction works. Yes, the irony level of the day was sky-high.
The conclusion? A lighthearted day, full of laughter, with that sunshine finally showing up to remind us that laughing with someone you love is always the best thing. 🌸
And so, thank you to my best friend—who drags me into a fitting room for two hours, makes me try on half the store, buys something while I don’t… but in the end, always gives me the best day. ❤️ (and a round of applause for the sales assistant who puts up with both of us 😂).
