BLACK WEEK: quando la Blonder Family va in modalità sopravvivenza

Questa settimana è stata tutto fuorché glamour.

Tre giorni senza riscaldamento e senza acqua calda: la Blonder Family versione “accampamento invernale”, con noi che giravamo per casa infagottati come se dovessimo scalare l’Everest. La caldaia? Ha pensato bene di abbandonarci, lasciandoci un preventivo così pesante che ho avuto un attimo di silenzio interiore… e non per meditare.

Ovviamente, tra gelo e docce fredde, l’influenza ci ha fatto visita. Perfetto tempismo, direi. Ma vabbè, stiamo tornando alla normalità: la caldaia si è finalmente rimessa in riga e noi abbiamo abbandonato la modalità pinguino.

E oggi, per restare in tema “black”, arriva anche il Black Friday.

Per chi lavora nel commercio è come il Capodanno: intenso, veloce, pieno di gente e di offerte che volano più veloci dei pensieri. Un mix di adrenalina, caffè e resistenza mentale.

Alla fine, però, è anche il bello del nostro lavoro.

BLACK WEEK: when the Blonder Family switches to survival mode

This week was anything but glamorous.

Three days without heating and without hot water: the Blonder Family turned into a “winter campsite,” wandering around the house bundled up as if we were about to climb Everest. The boiler? It decided to quit on us, leaving behind a repair estimate so heavy that I needed a moment of inner silence… and not for meditation.

Obviously, between the freezing cold and cold showers, the flu paid us a visit. Perfect timing, I know. But things are finally getting back to normal: the boiler has been brought back in line and we’ve officially left penguin mode behind.

And today, to stay on theme, it’s also Black Friday.

For those of us working in retail, it’s basically New Year’s Eve: intense, fast-paced, full of people and deals disappearing faster than thoughts. A mix of adrenaline, coffee, and pure mental stamina.

But in the end, this is also the beauty of our job.

So… happy Black Friday to all my colleagues 🖤
