Dieci anni dopo.

Allora ragazzi, sedetevi perché devo darvi una notizia importante.
Tra qualche giorno il mio blog compie 10 anni.
Sì, DIECI.
10.
Una cifra che, sinceramente, scritta così mi fa anche un po’ impressione.
Ma sapete qual è la cosa che mi sconvolge di più? Che quando ho aperto il blog avevo solo 29 anni.
VENTINOVE.
Dio santo.
Cioè, ma dove sono finiti questi dieci anni? E soprattutto… chi mi ha dato il permesso di crescere così? Vorrei parlare con il responsabile, grazie. 😂
Comunque, lasciamo perdere questa dolorosa parentesi anagrafica e torniamo alle cose importanti.
Il mio blog tra qualche giorno compie 10 anni e per festeggiare ho deciso di regalargli qualcosa di speciale.
Un vestito nuovo.
Perché diciamocelo, dopo 10 anni anche lui aveva bisogno di una sistematina. Un po’ come me, solo che per me costa troppo. 😂
E quindi ho deciso di cambiare completamente look al blog, di dargli una nuova veste e di renderlo, insomma, un po’ più moderno.
La cosa normale sarebbe stata pensarci, progettare tutto con calma, prendermi il mio tempo…
E invece no.
L’ho praticamente cambiato tutto durante una delle mie solite notti insonni.
Perché evidentemente, quando gli altri dormono, io decido che è il momento perfetto per rivoluzionare un blog che esiste da 10 anni. Normalissimo, no? 😂
Ma veniamo al punto.
L’anniversario ufficiale sarebbe il 15 settembre.
E io avrei anche potuto aspettare quella data per presentarvi tutto per bene.
MA SECONDO VOI CE L’HO FATTA?
Ovviamente no.
Perché è esattamente come quando compri un vestito nuovo e dici: “Questo lo tengo per un’occasione speciale”.
Poi lo indossi il giorno dopo.
Anche se devi solo andare al supermercato.
Ecco, stessa cosa.
Non sono riuscita ad aspettare.
Era lì, bello, nuovo, sistemato… e io dovevo assolutamente farvelo vedere.
Quindi eccomi qui, con qualche giorno di anticipo, a presentarvi il nuovo look del mio blog.
Dieci anni fa ho aperto questo spazio senza avere la minima idea di quanto sarebbe rimasto nella mia vita.
Nel frattempo sono successe un sacco di cose, sono cambiate le mode, sono cambiati i social, è cambiato praticamente tutto.
Io sono cambiata.
Il blog è cambiato.
Il marito no.
Lui, dopo 10 anni, è rimasto esattamente uguale. E forse questa è la vera costante della mia vita. 😂
Però, in fondo, siamo ancora qui.
E questa cosa, nonostante le battute sull’età e i miei piccoli traumi da cifra tonda, mi emoziona davvero tanto.
E c’è un’altra cosa che mi rende davvero felice: grazie all’app HelloTalk, il mio blog viene letto anche in diverse parti del mondo. Una cosa che, sinceramente, non avrei mai immaginato dieci anni fa, quando ho aperto questo mio piccolo spazio.
Quindi niente, magari non ve ne frega assolutamente niente eh, però dopo 10 anni mi sembrava giusto condividere questa cosa con voi.

Un po’ più bello, un po’ più grande, decisamente più moderno… ma dentro sempre pieno delle mie solite chiacchiere.

Ten Years Later

Alright guys, sit down because I have some important news to share.
In a few days, my blog will turn 10 years old.
Yes, TEN.
10.
A number that, honestly, looks a little scary when I see it written like that.
But do you know what shocks me the most? When I started my blog, I was only 29 years old.
TWENTY-NINE.
Good Lord.
I mean, where did those ten years go? And most importantly… who gave me permission to grow up like this? I’d like to speak to the person in charge, thank you. 😂
Anyway, let’s put this painful age-related subject aside and get back to the important things.
In a few days, my blog will turn 10 years old and, to celebrate, I decided to give it something special.
A new outfit.
Because let’s be honest, after 10 years it needed a little makeover. A bit like me, except mine would cost too much. 😂
So I decided to completely change the look of my blog, give it a new style and make it, well, a little more modern.
The normal thing would have been to think about it, plan everything carefully and take my time…
But no.
I basically changed the whole thing during one of my usual sleepless nights.
Because apparently, when everyone else is sleeping, I decide it’s the perfect time to completely revolutionize a blog that has existed for 10 years. Totally normal, right? 😂
But anyway, back to the point.
The official anniversary is September 15th.
And I could have waited until then to properly show you everything.
BUT DO YOU THINK I MANAGED TO?
Of course not.
Because it’s exactly like when you buy a new outfit and say, “I’ll save this for a special occasion.”
And then you wear it the very next day.
Even if you’re just going to the supermarket.
Same thing. 😂
I just couldn’t wait.
It was there, looking all beautiful, new and fresh… and I absolutely had to show it to you.
So here I am, a few days early, introducing you to the new look of my blog.
Ten years ago, I started this little space without having the slightest idea of how long it would remain such an important part of my life.
In the meantime, so many things have happened. Fashion has changed, social media has changed, pretty much everything has changed.
I’ve changed.
The blog has changed.
My husband hasn’t.
After 10 years, he is exactly the same. And maybe that’s the one true constant in my life. 😂
But somehow, we’re still here.
And honestly, despite all the jokes about getting older and my little trauma over this round number, this really means a lot to me.
And there’s another thing that makes me incredibly happy: thanks to the HelloTalk app, my blog is now read by people from different parts of the world. Something I honestly never would have imagined ten years ago when I first started this little space.
So anyway, maybe you don’t really care at all, but after 10 years I felt like sharing this with you.
Welcome to the new The Fashion Blonder.
A little prettier, a little bigger, definitely more modern… but still full of my usual ramblings.
And me?
I’m still the same.
Just 10 years older, unfortunately. 😂
