A livello internazionale, i miei cuori musicali battono per Rihanna, Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd, Justin Timberlake e Justin Bieber.

🎶 “Baby shark doo doo doo doo doo doo”

Capite a me.

Simple question? Yes. Simple answer? Not really.

If someone asks me: “What kind of music do you like?”, there’s only one answer: all of it. Yes, really. Not because I can’t decide, but because I truly believe music is a reflection of our mood.

There are days when you need something that makes you dance on the kitchen table with a spoon in your hand, and other days when you need a song to cry to while staring out the window as if it were raining (even if it’s sunny — it’s all about the vibe). Just think of summer: hand on your heart… who hasn’t blasted a party hit in the car at full volume? Exactly.

There are artists who, in my opinion, just can’t miss a beat. In Italy, I absolutely love Marco Mengoni, Mahmood, Irama, Cesare Cremonini, Achille Lauro, Giorgia, Laura Pausini, Elisa, Annalisa, and Elodie. They could sing me the grocery list and I’d still get emotional.

On an international level, my musical heart beats for Rihanna, Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd, Justin Timberlake, and Justin Bieber. Basically, a playlist that goes from wild dancing to emotional breakdowns in under three minutes.

And every year, I proudly admit: I watch Amici from the very first episode to the last. I love seeing new talents emerge, hearing their stories, and maybe discovering the next artist to add to my “favorite singers” playlist.

But then… reality hits.

Because the truth is, at home, the music we listen to the most isn’t exactly what I just listed. Actually, the real stars of our Bluetooth speakers are:

🎶 “Baby shark doo doo doo doo doo doo”

🎶 “Mickey Mouse takes a bath with his teddy bear”

You get the idea.

My playlist sounds more like a nursery rhyme compilation than a Sanremo Festival album, but honestly… that’s music too. And maybe that’s the beauty of it — music follows us through every phase of life, even when we’re dancing with our kids among soap bubbles and plastic dinosaurs.

So… what kind of music do you really listen to? 😄
