Io non ho dubbi: New York.
If I Won Two Tickets… Dream Destination: New York
Some dreams stay tucked away in a drawer, scribbled in an old notebook or whispered between a “maybe someday” and a “who knows if it’ll ever happen.”
And then there are those simple questions that spark the imagination: “If you won two tickets, where would you go?”
I have no doubt: New York.
Not just to visit as a tourist — or rather, not only that. I’d want to live it. Breathe it in.
I’d love to wake up in the morning and head down to one of those corner coffee shops, filled with the smell of cinnamon and toasted bagels, grab my coffee in a paper cup, and walk among the skyscrapers like a true local — just another New Yorker with a full bag and earbuds in.
I’d want to get lost in the most authentic neighborhoods, take the subway with no destination in mind, sit on a bench in Central Park and just watch life go by.
I’m not looking for a postcard moment — I want the everyday heartbeat of a city that never sleeps. I want to see the bright lights, sure, but also the little things: the corner grocery store, the neighborhood playground, the neighbors chatting on the brownstone steps in Brooklyn.
To me, New York is a dream of real life in a world so far away and yet strangely familiar — made of little details that feel like magic in the movies, but that I want to experience for myself.
And if I ever won those two tickets, I’d use them to make this dream come true… not alone, though: I’d love to share it with my family, to discover every hidden corner together, every little surprise, every emotion. Because dreams, when shared with the ones you love, become even bigger.
