Aceto, sabbia e coccole a volontà.
Insomma: vacanza vera.
In sintesi?

Corsica – Days 3 & 4: Dents, Jellyfish, and a Consolation Paella
Our Corsican adventure continues… with minor daily dramas, unexpected marine encounters, and the occasional well-earned treat.
Forget relaxing: every day here brings its own little twist!
Day 3:
We started the day with a surprise: our car now has a dent.
Nothing major, but enough to give it that “we’re a family on holiday” look.
We’re not exactly sure when it happened—possibly some creative parking or rally-style reversing—but the damage is done.
Now, every time we walk near the car, we do it slowly… just to avoid making things worse.
My husband? He’s been analyzing the dent like it’s an abstract art installation.
Day 4:
Today’s star: a jellyfish.
Manu and I had the unfortunate honor of crossing its path… and it did not spare us. 🪼
He screamed like he’d been stung by a radioactive scorpion, and I did the classic mom thing: calm face, soothing voice, internal panic.
A bit of vinegar, some sand, a lot of cuddles — and that was it.
We didn’t go back in the water.
Let’s just say the sea lost a bit of its charm for the day. We watched it from a distance with that classic “we’re watching you” kind of look.
But the day was saved by a glorious consolation paella at our favorite spot in Île-Rousse.
Huge, delicious, exactly what we needed to forget jellyfish stings, car dents, and general chaos.
We ate in satisfied silence, but happy.
In other words: real vacation vibes.
To sum it up?
A little banged up, slightly stung, but still standing — and very much determined to enjoy every single moment… even the itchy ones.
📝 In the meantime, I’m working on a new post:
“10 Things I Love (and Don’t Love) About Corsica.”
Spoiler: the jellyfish didn’t make the love list.
